Make that 5-0 adding the sorry Frogs. Cinn beat West Virginia and Louisville beat Syracuse. Big East fans are talking down to C-USA?

umm, the Big East didn't add the teams that it did because of football. they added them because of hoops.

Your kidding me right? They added South Florida basketball over Memphis basketball? Tell me that adds up... The descion to add stems really from two reasons: football and market size. Louisville and Cincy have respectable football teams and South Florida gives the Big East a chance to gain back some of the Florida market. The Louisville and Cincy basketball programs are just a plus. |

The Big East would have taken Yale basketball before offering Calipari an invite. He is not well liked in the BE, to put it lightly.

There is still 3 or 4 programs I would have taken over South Florida if it was strictly a basketball choice. |

This basketball season should be interesting with the four teams leaving soon. I think that Memphis had motivation to beat Louisville. I wonder if the basketball teams will do the same.

I think so, just to prove a point. We proabbly will not compete this year, we do not have any big men at all. We may have a freshman ste-up but I doubt it. Next year should be the year will do some damage in basketball.
I think C-USA basketball as it is will be affective two more years.
