Help Please with Fictional League
Wife is gone overnight with the baby . I got a six pack of Busch Lite and a bag of cheez puffs. So needless to say I am playing FOF until the break of dawn, now to my help.
I used HR's utility and created a fictional league starting in 1960. I plan on simming until 2003.... What is the best injury rating to use? And for you who have used the fictional rosters, are you still seeing the 4000 yd QB problem....I have seen the topic disscussing this that someone posted, but just looking for any others who have used this and what they are seeing. Thanks |

I used HR's utility and started at 1980, I'm seeing a slight problem with 4000 yard passers, but not as bad as it was with the real roster set. It does seem a lot closer to real football since I switched to the fictional roster set.
The injury rating is really a matter of what you're looking for. If you want it to be realistic then somewhere between 150 and 200 is probably best, but you see a ton of injuries then, as you should, its football. I play with the injury rating set at 125, I see enough injuries to make me work a little harder and make sure I pay attention to depth at each position group, but it doesn't get out of hand.

I just want to say that i have the injury rating at 150 and am happy with it there. I am seeing slightly more QB injuries now atleast, not much more, but a little. And its fairly challenging, which is the point of a game is it not? I have still managed to win 2 FOB's in three years. Then my coach got hired away and a few key guys got too old and the injuries for them started to become a bigger problem for the money and, well, lets just say i'm rebuilding now.

thanks for the feed back guys.
First off HR you are the man, stats are much more accurate than the real player file. Thanks!! Herd or Cringer - dont know where you are at in you league (year) but are you using the computer generated draft or TCY? I am in 1983 and the game generated draft seems to be ok?? |

I didnt use a fictional start, but I have my injuries set at 120. It doesnt put every guy you have on the injured list, but its just enough to get you flustered.
