2015 Tour de France

Always like seeing some of the discussion on the board, so figured I'd start a thread. I love watching it on DVR. I'm Mr. Mom during the summer, so plenty of time to turn on the race and watch it in its entirety each day. Big crowds in the Netherlands!

Far more interesting first road stage than usual. Crosswinds make races fun!

What's the over under of the eventual winner being on steroids?

Steroids? Name your odds and I'll happily take them.

So, the result up front seems pretty much set for a while now (yeah, the difference is not ginormous, but the balance of power seems pretty solid) . Basically i am watching for the individual stages and the scenery-porn Todays stage had some awesome shots, especially with the water reservoir right in the middle of a climb and also the final climb which was basically a miniature Alpe D'Huez. Speaking of that one: It´s on Saturday.

too bad that Van Garderen had to abandon (or rather, was pulled for his own good after suffering mightily with what seemed to be major respiratory infection)
