Andrew with two top 5's in his first 3 races. We may have a future star on our hands here.

Chris would like to race Watkins Glen.

Guess my stats need some work - after a good first race, I haven't been able to get out of the middle of the pack in any other race.

All-Star Race

Segment #1

After the random draw it was Coy Duke sitting on the pole and Connor Root 2nd. Coy led the race's first lap before Root was able to make the pass and after that point there was no catching the #39 car. Root led the final 19 laps of Segment #1 to take the victory. His teammate Max Gresham was 2nd, Coy Duke 3rd, Brett Hawkins 4th and Bo Duke 5th. Impressive showing for Truck drivers as they grabbed the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots.

All-Star Race

Segment #2

Again, like Segment #1, one driver dominated the 20 laps of action. This time it was Jackson Pace who got the pole after the random draw and led all 20 laps of racing. It seems like everyone is laying back waiting for the final shootout. Benton Gale was 2nd followed by Dexter Jackson Sr., Connor Root and Mustafa Henderson.

All-Star Race

Final Segment

Connor Root is just too good right now. After starting on the pole, he lost the lead on two different occasions but was able to get it right back both times. Jackson Pace finished 2nd followed by Brett Hawkins, Bo Duke and Mustafa Henderson.

Two new spots have opened up in the Sprint Cup Series. We won't be filling these spots permanently until after the season but for the remainder of the races this season we have two spots open for each race. What we will do for these races is have Truck Series drivers fill in. Each driver can sign up for one race to participate in.

Race #6 of 10 - Cheez-It 50 Results

The truck drivers headed to the road course today for their only road race of the season. On the pole was Rico Herky who quickly lost the lead to Nile Kinnick who would lead only for 2 laps before he was passed by Bob Fulton who led for the next 5. From there it was Qwikshot Autotune who passed Bob to take the lead and looked like he was well on his way to victory. But with 4 laps left, the polesitter Herky finally made his way back to the front, passed Autotune and went on to victory.

Race #7 of 10 - Armory Digital 100 Results

As always with the Truck Series, they put on a show at the Armory Digital Superspeedway today. The lead swapped hands numerous times and it was all about putting yourself in the right spot as the laps wound down. Today Vance Duke was able to get himself in the right position and held off Chris Kizer and Landon Nicholson for the victory.

Very happy to see I got to the front for a short while in this win and finished off with my second straight top ten. It's been a tough go so far, but the Foley Racing Team has been making strides and we definitely hope to keep getting better into next year. Rumors abound, too, that a new driver might join the series next season!

I will volunteer BL Zebub for Homestead if there aren't drivers that want to get their 1st Sprint race in there (it would be his 2nd).

Andrew Foley would be happy to to do the Homestead race if no other driver wants to do it (since I did one earlier as well).

Race #10 of 10 - Ford EcoBoost 200 Results

The Hurricane Racing teammates of Brett Hawkins and Barrett Hays came into the season finale at Homestead looking to put an exclamation mark on a great season. And they did just that dominating most of the day as Hays led 110 laps before losing the lead to Hawkins who led the final 9 laps of the race to secure the Season 2 Truck Series Championship.

FINAL STANDINGS

Brett Hawkins is your Season 2 Truck Series champion! He will now move up to the Cup Series for Season 4. Barrett Hays finished 2nd but will only be eligible for the Cup Series if he replaces Benton Gale. In 3rd was Coy Duke, he will only move up if he replaces Bo or Luke Duke. Rico Herky finished 4th but can only move up by replacing Hawk Grey or Chuck Long. The same for his teammate Nile Kinnick who finished 5th.

It looks like the Cup drivers lucked out this year as only 1 driver will be promoted to Cup. Kellen Killinger missed a promotion by only 1 point.

Quick Question, with only 1 Driver being promoted and no Demotions, what about the 2 open spots? I think that would still leave 1 open spot in the cup series, if I'm correct about that then I think it would be nice to see D. J. Kennington take one of the Open Spots considering he won the Cup Race at the Glen & Finished 43rd in points on top of all the Subs from the Truck Series.

Now is the time to get your stat changes in for Season 4. We will probably take the week off while everyone has time to make changes and then restart on Monday, August 17.
