I read an article about milk prices going bust in asia...does this affect you at all? I never really thought of Milk as an international commodity.

Europe has dropped production quotas so there is some added supply there. Farmers in the UK are really taking it on the chin right now. There's a definite oversupply in the Midwest, milk being dumped into manure lagoons. My processor decided to cut my premiums paid over the mandated lows. Checked out some other processors which would love to have me (and pay me more) but everybody is maxed out for processing capacity. |
