Great QBs with a hole in their game..

Is anyone else seeing something like this?

I have drafted three QBs that turned out to have awesome stats for where they were picked (3rd round or later) *except* for one glaring hole. Two of them had 0 in short passing, for instance.

Does anyone else see this specific thing? I always trade these guys off. I want the complete QB, even if his ratings are a little lower overall.

I've made something of an industry with trading these guys now. I even got a 1st rounder for one.

I've seen guys like this, and not just at QB. They can be made useful if you're calling the plays or control the game plan. But they're hazardous if you let the assistants do it.

I think the short passing, medium passing, and avoid INT ratings (for QBs) are too important to have zeroed out, and if I got one of those guys I would probably do what you do - trade him.

It's not necessary for me to have "complete" players at every position, but I do have some minimum standards.
