Always a fake. Dont want the hassle of a real tree.

We like real, but my wife has a pretty significant allergy to them so we go fake. But at least we go big fake. We've got 4 full size trees on the main floor and another 3 upstairs. She's a decorating demon.

Haven't put up a tree in 5-6 years, got one cat that would never allow it without major incident.

I've vacillated back and forth over the years, sometimes the fake one, sometimes a real one. This year, as I turned 40, it became more about hassle and less about authenticity so I got one of these small, table top ones. Took 20 minutes to decorate and it smells like Christmas.

My cat would be in heaven if we put it up-would think we put it up just so she had pesky ornaments to knock off of it.

Always a real tree, I refuse to go fake. Sometimes we chop 'em down, but the last 2 or 3 we've purchased from a lot. They look nicer, but damn they aren't cheap.
