It doesn't really fit the media's politics. This war is supposed to be about capitalism and western influence versus Islam, not a bunch of hard-liners who hate everyone equally and want to create a caliphate.
This is why Trump is so non-productive. He is a product of the media. All the reasoned arguments about how we should go after ISIS (working with stable governments in the Middle East) get lost in the wake of his populistic nonsense. |
