Ping: T.R.O.U.T. - Civil War this weekend
Winter Soldier covers being given out for Team Cap, Cyclops for Team Iron Man.
I'm game either way, but my fanboy preference is Team Cap. Hopefully we can get a bunch of T.R.O.U.T. peeps to log in and push for the 4* cover rewards (while enjoying the new S.H.I.E.L.D. rank feature at the same time)! |

Should be major XP this weekend, because all the 8 hour essentials will be 10XP per clear.

I'll go whichever way we want to go. I'm still not to the place I need to get the 4* yet. I am grabbing 3 *s like crazy every chance I get.

I'll be there. No real preference for team, I dont have Winter Soldier or Cyclops, so I'll follow the T.R.O.U.T. masses.

I would prefer Iron Man, but it's not a huge deal to me.

We have six people playing so far, in round 3 of Team Cap. The more of T.R.O.U.T. gets involved and pushing, the better a shot we have of clearing 5 or 6 rounds of Cap early enough to try to also get some Team Iron Man rewards.

Toddzilla, I removed QCFrogMan. It's not a thing I ordinarily like to do, but it doesn't look as though he had developed his roster much (sorry, FrogMan!).
If you put in the application, I'll approve it. Just post your ID in the thread so I know it's you. |

Now that we're entering the tougher rounds, what are you guys bringing in to defeat Iron Man and his band of armors?

I've been using Steve Rogers, Magneto MN, and Storm Classic mostly. Then I try to deny his yellows so he doesn't pull in the party team early. Even after that I just focus fire on him.
I've only lost once when he took Storm out early.

I've been using Old Man Logan (Die Hard makes him hard to kill), Scarlet Witch and Black Panther. Scarlet Witch's Reality Crush and Black Panther's Rage of the Panther hit the whole enemy team so takes away from the House Party effect.
Sometimes Black Widow (Grey Suit) in place of Black Panther for her Sniper Shot that hits the whole team at level 5. Last edited by Critch : 09-02-2016 at 09:04 AM. |

That's why I like my duo of 3* Rogers and Scarlet Witch. They both have stuns, but because 5* Iron Man is immune to stuns, if he pops the House Party Protocol, Scarlet Witch's pink is guaranteed to stun one of the drones. I can throw Rogers' blue at another one, and then I can go back to targeting 5* Stark for a couple turns with powers. Adding 3* Human Torch to that mix has been effective for me as well since boosted 3* Torch's green hurts like hell. |

I was using Rocket and Groot. Once I got "I Got A Plan" to fire, I was one shot killing the drones, and made pretty quick work of him after they were gone.

I use BnB Spidey, 5* Cap, and 3* Magneto. Spidey is my tank and Mag's shield generator feeds Cap's healing.

Cap/SW/Hood is one of my strongest 3* teams anyway, so with two boosted I've just been letting them do their thing - as you say here, the stuns are useful even though Iron Man himself is immune. |
