I had the pleasure of meeting Ron at Gencon once. (during the postfirefly conhopping of all its stars. Really nice guy. I talked specifically about this segment from the 80s Twilight Zone he and Sherman Hemsley did. Was my favorite appearance of his. Great stuff. And he told me stories of those horrid contact lenses. |

Wish I had met him. The first role of his that I really remember is Houseguest. Went back and watched Barney Miller recently and he was fantastic there as well. He epitomized the "hey it's that guy who is always good in everything" actor that most people can't name.
