Interesting read...will be an interesting job for the selection committee this year since there are so many different angles that can be taken, especially with the PSU win last night. I guess we'll find out what they actually value more (at least this year) and that has been always my concern when choices left to humans. Would be nice if everyone always understand the criteria and weightings of each so that it was as objective as possible.

One common quibble, the NCAA has nothing to do with the FBS playoffs, it's the conferences and presidents that oversee it. NCAA only oversees FCS, D2 and D3.
