Other Games
Are there any other simulation games that move at a faster pace than FoF, or anything else anyone has any experience with? I'm mostly a football fan but I'd be interested in other sports? thanks

I'm not really sure any other sports simulation game could even compare to move at a faster pace, considering there's only 16 games per season in the NFL.

OOTP baseball. There are none better in my opinion, as I am primarily a baseball fan.

Yeah, I'm definitely excited for March 24th when I can get OOTP18 on steam.

If you are into football (soccer if you are from USA) that Football manager...IMHO definetly the best sports sim ever made.....ofcourse they like every game have good and bad versions.
But i think that FM 2016 was great....didnt yet play 2017 |

+1 If you like a fast pace I'd recommend FM Touch. A more streamlined version for people who want things going at a faster pace. I switched to touch some versions ago. The original FM is greatly detailed but can be a bit time consuming! |

For a fast pace and best of all get a copy of championship manager 99/00 which is free ware. Many people like me think this was the golden era before the game got too bloated and became Football Manager.
I was going my degree when this was a new game and man, did I put in the hours on it. Loved that game and until I discovered FOF last year it was always my antidote to long haul air travel |

I got sacked for losing an away friendly to the University of Maryland as Barcelona in a live MP game in Championship Manager 99, I think it was. Soccer isn't for me. It was whatever year that getting Javier Saviola was important. |

Try Diamond Mind baseball. It is a text based simulator that I have enjoyed for years.

Yeah, OOTP and Football Manager are two of the best. Absolute must plays in the sim genre.
Wolverine Studios puts out some good, but not quite great sims. Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball 2017 from them is probably what I'd recommend for basketball. |

Fast Break Basketball is also good - there is a pro and a college version.
Motorsport Manager is a new one that simulates F1, and it has gotten rave reviews. Your biggest, most polished options have already been mentioned though - OOTP and Football Manager. |

Fast Break College Basketball is still the best multi season, sort of fast play sim I've ever played.
