Real solid commit at QB and what are the odds that the game actually produces a center named Trevor Matich? Last edited by BYU 14 : 03-13-2017 at 10:14 AM. |

I gave the top 10 recruits real names, just thought it would be neat to see where these recruits end up. Check out the Fridge as number ten in the nation.

1980 Bowl Games
Las Vegas Bowl San Jose vs North Texas San Jose goes bowling!!! We start the game off with a Dennis Mayfield one yard touchdown run...and only manage six points the rest of the game. Our defense isn't even operating on Sun Belt championship caliber, let alone Power 5 caliber. Ferguson is a very unspectacular 22/40 212 yards, Mayfield manages a paltry 76 yards and we give up over 450 yards on defense...not our best day. North Texas 35 San Jose 14 Sugar Bowl #11 South Carolina 13 #15 Florida 16 OT Peach Bowl #7 Alabama 30 #23 Miami 19 Fiesta Bowl #10 Cincinnati 32 #5 Oregon 42 Outback Bowl #21 Oklahoma St 20 #9 Ohio St 47 Orange Bowl #18 UCLA 31 #22 Texas 28 Holiday Bowl #23 Baylor 21 #15 Notre Dame 49 National Semi-Final Rose Bowl #4 Nebraska 27 #1 Wisconsin 48 National Semi-Final Cotton Bowl #3 Oklahoma 37 #2 Florida St 27 National Championship-New Orleans Louisiana #3 Oklahoma #1 Wisconsin Terrific back and forth game, Wisconsin was up 21-10 in the 2nd quarter but OU battled back to go up 27-21 in the 4th. Wisconsin took the field on their own 4 yard line with six minutes left and Robert Johnson ran in from six yards with less than two minutes left to give Wisconsin the title 28-27. |

Big 10 lands three teams in the top 10, eight SEC teams in the top 25. San Jose finishes 6-7 and the board will look for improvement next year. San Jose is 8th in passing rating in the Mountain West, 10th in rushing yards, 9th in sacks and 12th in interceptions. |

Off Topic but overall how are you feeling about the game? I'm growing tired with Bowl Bound these days and wanting a new college sim but kind of wondering how this holds up in comparison?

I'm enjoying it. The recruiting mode is in depth and can be maddening at times but is much better than bowl bound in my opinion. Game play can be long winded but overall I am enjoying the game, I would recommend it.
