Flying out to NY today
So Im in Abu Dhabi now, past US immigration preclearance. Apparently, it's essentially a domestic flight from here to JFK via Etihad
Screening was tougher than usual (compared to mainland immigation) and no electronics larger than a celphone were indeed allowed to be carried on, as per the DHS directive. Looking forward to seeing New York!

So they had you check in laptops with your luggage? How does that work with the lithium battery(ies)?
