RIP Prince Philip's official public appearances
News reports outside of England are reporting that Queen Elizabeth's husband has passed away. Royal protocol says that any announcements will be made at 8am London time. The Queen's entire staff was summoned to a 3am emergency meeting.
edit: Clarification that he is simply retiring from official duties.

"French Media" has confirmed it. Whatever that means, but they say the announcement will be later. (Roughly around 4a Eastern if my math is right.)
