Good (free or cheap) photo editor/organizer with tag-option ?
Any suggestions ? Basically working (and maybe looking) sorta similar to Picasa would be neat ... All i wanna do is
1) quickly make adjustments (lighter, darker, red eyes, crop etc). 2) tag the lot. Preferably batch-tagging as well as an ability to easily set up tags of my own. 3) have an easy search function for those tags. Basically wanna finally move past simply batch-renaming the files and storing them in seperate folders sorted by date and general area, instead want to tag stuff so i can search for things like "seal + Kaikoura" or "building + vancouver" or "mountain + sunny + snow" or whatever ... Tried "XnView" which i saw recommended a lot around the web, but for the life of me can't figure out how to efficiently tag and search. Plus the interface is cluttered and complicated ...
