Week 1 vs Chicago:

We opened the season with a game in which we were a large favorite and while it started shaky with each team throwing a pick and the Bears did score first with a FG on the first play of the 2nd quarter and held a 3-0 lead until right before the half we tied it up there and then scored another 3 FGs and a Clay Davis TD in the 2nd half to roll to a 19-3 win.

DeAndre Henson went 11/24 for 121 yards with a TD and a pick and ran 16 times for 99 yards. Monty Scott ran 12 times for 55 yards. Rusty Cooper caught all 3 targets for 45 yards.

Jace Glenn made 8 tackles and a pick. Taylor Cates made a sack.

Erik Foerstel made all 4 FG tries including 2 over 50 yards.

Week 3 at New Orleans:

Going up against another of the top teams in the league with the QB taken 2nd overall in the 2017 draft, Darnell Mills 70, who battles DeAndre Henson as the top QBs in the league. The Saints got on the board to start getting a FG late in the 1st. We won the second quarter as Henson threw a couple TDs but late in the quarter the Saints scored off a punt return to cut the lead to 13-10. We got a trio of FGs in the 3rd and though Mills did throw a TD in the 4th they were unable to take the lead and we won 22-17.

DeAndre Henson went 8/13 for 342 yards with 2 TDs and 2 picks and ran 5 times for 34 yards. Patrick Rodgers ran 11 times for 21 yards. Clay Davis caught 8 of 13 targets for 175 yards.

Ronald Schroeder made 11 tackles and a sack and a forced fumble. Conner Raymond, Dashawn Mallow, and Clarence Boone each had a sack as well. Taylor Cates also forced a fumble and Stan Howe and Butch Bullock each recovered one. Tommy Criswell had a pick.

Erik Foerstel made all 3 FG tries with a long of 40 yards.

Kris Baker suffered a stress fracture in his leg and will miss quite a bit of time and Joseph McCrary, who would likely replace him, broke his Tibia and will miss at least a month.

Against a weaker Rams team we came out firing scoring 21 unanswered on our first 3 drives with Henson throwing 2 TDs and running for 1 before the Rams scored a TD. We went pretty conservative in the 2nd half but managed to add a couple FGs to win 26-7.

DeAndre Henson 22/36 for 281 yards with 2 TDs and a pick and ran 7 times for 38 yards and a TD. Al Summers ran 9 times for 58 yards. Gabe DeLamielleure caught 9 of 13 targets for 118 yards.

Conner Raymond made 7 tackles and 2 sacks. Clarence Boone also made a sack. Jace Glenn made a pick and Taylor Cates forced a fumble.

Erik Foerstel made both FGs but missed 1 of 3 xps.

Ronald Schroeder hyperextended his knee and will miss a couple weeks.
