Screwed? Yep that was it. Even if the ref wasn't in the way, Polly still would have made it to the ball.

WOO HOO!

There was the ref tripping thing, and also the no-call on Wistrom hitting Hasselbeck way after he threw the ball.

Didn't see the Wistrom hit, although I saw Hasselbeck down on the ground. Looked like he stepped on him from what I did see though. Great game, and since I'm on the winning end, I'm happy.

Back to FOF 2004....

Yeah, there were a couple bad non-calls, but I am a firm believer that ref's never win or lose a game. The Seahawks had plenty of chances to win this one, just didn't take advantage. Now they really need to win the next two games to get in to the playoffs.

I am a Seahawks fan, btw.

Just off hand, I would say the refs won the game for the 49ers vs the Giants last year.

A Carolina loss would also clinch at least the #2 seed and a bye week for the Rams.

Carolina is fading fast.

Yeah, letting up like 28 points in the fourth quarter had nothing to do with it.

It sure did, but the end of the game sucked. All this technology and STILL, calls are missed.

Just kidding, Dark.

Bengals beat the relaxed Rams this week in St. Louis.

Call it 35-34.

You heard it* here first.

unfortunately, Donahue signed him to a 5-year deal...
no way we can get rid of him if we wanted to.

Actually I said it first and I meant it, way back when Eaglesfan was collecting predictions. I even listed it as the Upset of the season, but frankly, I wouldn't be realy surprised by a win in ol' St. Louie at this point.

Go ahead, look past us, I DARE YOU.

Oh and I gotta feel for theseachickens too, I mean they get screwed in baltimore to the tune of 30 seconds on teh clock AND an extra timeout, then this BS with the official and the missed 15 yard penalty on the rams in St. Louis....how badly does the NFL not want Seattle in the playoffs?

They just need another Testeverde-like goal line "touchdown" to close out the season.

To beat the Rams, the Bengals would need to seriously limit their touches. That calls for a heavy dose of Ruuuuuuuudi! Ruuuuuuuudi! Ruuuuuuuuuudi!

Hey, come on, don't forget this isn't the first time the back judge has decided to run pass interference on our receiver down field. It was either last year or the year before I believe on Darrell Jackson who was wide open and was tackled to take away a touchdown.

And to be honest Mizz, no way Polly gets a play on that ball if Engram continues his route, he had the inside and would have had a great chance to make the play, the no call on Hass was just icing on the cake. A really sad way to end an otherwise great game as both teams played pretty well for the most part. That cut back by Faulk (on the play where they missed the Turley movement before the snap ) on the screen to pick up the first down on the Rams last drive combined with that rookie laying a great last second block nearly sealed the game by itself. Here I thought we were going to have all our timeouts and 2 minutes to go when that play was developing.

This loses its luster when yo consider you predicted a Bengal victory in every single game.

Yes but before the season, that took guts. And more often than not, he has been right.

The BenGALS won't beat us at home, we're touchless. Let's put an end to that right HERE!

Travis, your points are good ones, but todays refs stink, plain and simple - calls like these happen every Sunday and Monday, sometimes on Thursday.

I think if you win a challenge, you should get to keep your flag.
