FOF 2004: What is your injury setting?
This is an area where I choose fun over realism and challenge. I get attached to my players and like to see them rack up the stats. I have mine set at 75.

150, helps keep the QB stats in check. And i still set the all time rushing record for my league with Clinton Portis with almost 18,000......so my guys still get stats.

I think I have it at about 80 or so. I feel like that gets me an appropriate amount of injuries... I have about three-five major injuries a year that require me to shuffle lineups. Any more than that and I'd get a little harried trying to sign people to fill out a team.

As I've mentioned a couple of times before, I find that 125 is a good compromise between realism and roster micromanagment, so that's what I've been using.

I think mine is around 130-140 (although I always vote the trout option in polls).

I set mine at 120 and it seems ok. Just enough injuries to make it close to the real NFL but doesn't get out of hand.

I have mine at the default (100) and it seems like a lot less injuries than the past games. But I also noticed that just about every season ending injury is virtually a career ender.
Anyone have better info on what the injury numbers are supposed to mean? The help file doesn't say anything.

The general concensus (I can't recall if stats back it up or not) is that 100 is a little less injuries than occur IRL.

I am suprised that there are no zero or 200 people in the group. I thought we were a bit more of an extreme bunch than that. |

I haven't played with these settings, but it would be nice to turn down the injuries a bit... maybe I'll try a lower setting. Can you change this mid-game?
