Did Someone Say Pitching? (OOTP 20 Interactive)

Inspired by the ATL and the lack of pitching...

25 teams from baseball history will be used as the "feeder" teams. Players from those teams will be drafted by the team owners (whomever chooses to join).

The number of players will determine how long the season will be. Looking at most likely 12 games versus each team in the league. Using the ATL as the example, with 10 teams there would be 108 games in the season. The season will not exceed 162 games (number of games against each team will adjust based upon number of signups).

For the feeder teams, I'll randomly choose a team from the earliest era and whichever year that club has the lowest team ERA will be the year that team will be from. Only one team per franchise will be selected.

Teams will be imported with default settings. The year will be 1980.

Rules

- An owner may only draft one player from each feeder team.
- Once a player is taken he cannot be taken by another team.
- If a player exists in multiple versions of himself, once the player has been taken all subsequent versions of the player can no longer be drafted (example: If Bonds exists from the Pirates and Giants the first version of Bonds taken will be the only version of Bonds allowed to be drafted).
- Draft order will be randomly chosen and will snake (reverse every round).
- No DH in this one.
- 25 player rosters (1 player from each team).
- No injuries or suspensions.

I don't know what the schedule will be like yet. I may have some time away; may have a work trip in November (no clue for certain yet, just sort of found out about it when I was sent a spread sheet this weekend with my name in it for Go Live support but I was only sent it as an "FYI, in case they have any questions over the next couple weeks" but my name is all over the spread sheet as a support resource and go live support).

Also, I have a spinal operation scheduled for the first week of December (Tarlov Cysts) and I may be in the hospital for a week or two (keep hearing differing opinions) and maybe take another week or so to get moving again. This means there may be a 2-3 week break during that time but since I may be on disability while I recover either until the end of January or the end of February it should open up plenty of time to run a few sims and post).

Hoping to turn that website into something that I actually start to post and tie into a youtube channel but until then I can also use a folder for OOTP.
