That last pairing is trash, surely there was something worthy from the first round...

Some interesting match ups in this round:

Mungo vs Big Country - Mungo beat a pretty good round 1 opponent handily, so this will probably be close

Dougless vs Verve - Kung Fu Fighting got the most votes of any song in round 1, but Bittersweet Symphony has a pretty solid following...this one could also be very close

Greenbaum vs Len - two very different songs, 2 very similar vote totals from round 1...

Bainbridge vs Taco - weak weak pairing...will make the above winner's road pretty easy in the next round

I said the same thing, "Do I really need to pick one of these?"

Ritz is completely annoying. I can at least tolerate Mouth.
Kung Fu and Sunshine easy picks for me.
Really think In the Summertime is underrated so went with that.

I'll be voting "Spirit in the Sky" until the Final 4. Then ... we'll see.

I adore mungojerry's freakishly big head

bittersweet is one of my favorites from the 90s, especially the video

spirit in the sky has never done a thing for me. Len was a crappy band with this really amazing little one hit wonder. So pleasant

and taco is taco

Significantly less voters in this group from group A...

Big Country vs Mungo Jerry - nice win, against tough opponent, but another interesting match up coming up next round.

Dougless vs Verve - thought this might end up being more lopsided.

Greenbaum vs Len - I also expected this one to be closer...

Taco vs Bainbridge - didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't taco in a blowout, with the most votes in the group and the highest margin of victory...I realize the bainbridge tune has something to do with that, but I would've expected more adverse selection on Ritz...
