damn, Nena's not getting any love from the seeding committee, having to take on Beds Are Burning, The Boys are Back in Town, and Now I Want Candy?

The first and last matchups were the ones I struggled with.

I keep seeing Natalie Imbruglia's name and wondering "where's the hot button?"

Nena vs Bow Wow Wow - a bit surprised by this vote total. I expected Nena to win, but given that these come from the same genre with only 2 years separating them, I figured most people that like one will like the other, and I believe an argument can be made that I Want Candy is the better song...so I expected a closer vote.

Numan vs Gang - based on vote totals and opponents from the first 2 rounds I knew that this would be a close one. Wasn't sure which way this would fall...

Cherry vs Deep Blue - another one that looked like it was going to be close. My prediction would have been White Boy as the winner.

Contours vs Imbruglia - interesting The Contours got as many votes as they did. I would have guessed a much bigger win for Torn. Hats off to "Do You Love Me"...a 60s song (so clearly not in the boards wheel house), performing strongly in the 3rd round.
