Let’s reassess my colonial needs:


1. I have finished drawing borders to the north and mid-west and south America.
2. I have taken the most valuable Indies holdings available, only lesser ones like New Guinea, or ones by many others in places like the Philippines are left. As of today, we lead the world in 27.7% of Spice production. I’m also tops in Chinaware (26%), and at 19% am only 4% from the Tea leader.
3. Taking minor, unstate-able holdings like Halmahera and others may be okay next. But all others were taken by Mameluks who arrived long ago and grabbed Borneo and south Atjeh islands as well as some minor entry way isles.


Target 1 – Finish Alaska. Do this slowly. Remove my colonists here If Portugal grabs the Aleutians while I’m taking Spics Isles I’ll consider that an okay swap.

Target 2 – Finishing fighting for the Spice Islands. Grab Papua and New Guinea, and a few lesser places here and there that aren’t state-able like Halmahera and Taytay.

Target 3 – There are some internal holdings that are part of my states, such as Louisiana and Mariquita. Get them next.

Target 4 - Grab the mines around central Appalachia, we need more iron and copper and are starting to push for those in the world. I had kept a state open for them until we got deep in the Indies.

Target 5 – Slowly, very slowly, grab South America over North. Only our sections remain unclaimed the rest of the continent is taken, finish it.

Target 6 – Although not colonial, continue to push for key trading posts. Let’s top Ivory and then look at Silk or other exotics.

South America has changed little in the last 50 years or so. We’ve added a few holdings in the Andes but not much and you have Holland, France, Portugal and GB to our south



The last 50 years I’ve been more involved in the Indies than here as well, so other than Alaska and finishing stopping the GB Rex we are fine. Note that I’m active in multiple places in the east in modern West Virginia and Kentucky.

As you can see, I have zoomed out so you can see all of my new holdings. I have excised England from South America. You can see the best province, their own capital with it’s high development. Taking their hole thing was just 19 warscore. (It’s easier against colonial nations, which represents real life where large chunks of land just like this one would pass.)

Now I could spend like 30 minutes writing up each of these. However, I am going to skip that. I have one gold mine and one iron.
