The 2100 NFL Amateur Draft
The first draft of the century is here! Drafting at the coveted 1.1 spot are the Boise Falcons. I think the first draft pick of the 2100s is QB Dominique Franz. And they go…. CB Lincoln Unruh? Huh. Franz goes 1.3 to Knoxville. The 1.31 pick is here. Who do I like? MLB Wally O'Donnell – The best LB in the draft hasn’t gone. I wasn’t expecting him to fall so I didn’t scout him. Looks like a stud at everything save for run D where he’s only ok. DT Vince Taggart – 3rd best player on the draft, could I take him and replace Wynn who is in his 9th year? He looks pretty sexy, no interviews. SLB Darrin Hoover – Very underrated – Here is where I began my interviews. 2nd best LB on the board, not great bars. WLB Wes Lusher – Very underrated, better bars, 3rd LB on the board WILB Colton Durham- Overrated. WILB Kaleb Robbins – Overrated WILB Jackson Lillis – Overrated SLB Micah Schwantz – Overrated Who so I like? O Donnells, Taggart and Lusher Here’s the top player on the board O’Donnell who looks pretty good. I could move him to WLB and start him there where his run stop isn’t as important. Here’s Lusher, a guy I was targeting at the 1.31. He’s well rounded with no major weaknesses and is very underrated. He’d normally be my choice but O’Donnell fell. Here is the 3rd best player in the draft, DT Taggart who seems to have good pass rush and run D and play D and okay hitting. You don’t often get gifted a DT this good this far back in the draft Which LB/DT do you like?

Stats
Offensive Passing QB Bratsch – 322 of 497, 64.8, 3726, 32:5, 104.5 That’s his best career rating and the guy still got me 3726 yards. Hamilton has 210 yards spelling him for we finished just shy of 4k. Rushing RB Torelli – 421 for 2266 yards =, 5.38 ypc, 19 scores Dude had a ton of scores and a ton of yards with a great ypc. Receiving Gassner led all WRs with 1477 yards by 135 and his 14 TD led by 5 scores. Rookie stud WR Abrams was 2nd with 605 yards and 4 scores. A solid campaign. Torelli was with 514 yards and finished 2.7k yards from scrimmage and TE Moss netted me 528 yards so this was a good year in receiving. Blocking Artie Lynn had a massive campaign and led the league in KRB. He had a studly pancakes and just 4 sacks allowed. A great year by my backup C Schneider in his 2nd year starting for me. Escribano was a massive 41 KRB which… was 4th most in the league and top in his position. My O Line got Three All pros and my RB a 4th of my 7 so they were really clicking as you can see! Special Teams K Ballard – 31 of 36, Long of 55,52 fo 56 PAT Okay! P Evans – 76 for 42.6 avg and 34 in 20 Lower years for his avg. Gassner THREE KR/PR RET TDs Blouch – 25 special teams tackles

Defensive
A light year in tackles. Clemons finally broke the 10 sack mark with 11.5 and Nordbye won his 2nd All Pro with 13.5 which was..3rd most in the league. Blouch had a great year at SLB with a studly 9 sacks, and Vaughn moved to WLB grabbed me a strong 7.5. Rookie Taggart had just 4.5 sacks which was fine for a rookie but we’ll want to see improvement. Pass Coverage Maybe because Collins was out all year but this was a horrible year in the pass coverage and no one had more than 2 picks.

The 2101 NFL FA Period #1
I interview folks who may fall to 1.32. This doesn’t look like a good or deep draft but I cam away with a record 3 studs in the last so maybe someone will fall to me! I sign my RFAs and extend QB Hamilton a year and P Evans by two years. McElroy wont’ resign he’s angry with his lack of playing time. I have 5.2 mill after RFas and 47 on my roster Vets QB Bratsch – 12th year, 60/60, wants 142 mill 2 years, this cuts his cap this year from 106 to 82. I do it K Ballard – Wants 69 mill for 3 years, I do it SILB Vaughn – 66/66 9th year, I hold off until post draft FS Fredrickson – I don’t resign DE Nordbye – Wants 110 mill for 3 years which is a big cap raise of 22 mill. I do it. Tosi – Wants 30 mill for 3 years. Do it I extend NT Sayre FB Flannery – 21 mill 4 years. Do it Rookies in Final year Dawkins – 14 mill 2 years, Do it Brady - 45 mill 4 years, I hold off I have 10 mill free after those extensions Week 5 – Moss sings with Pittsburgh Week 8 – Campbell heads to Seattle Week 10 – DE Fishley heads to Chicago

The 2101 NFL Amateur Draft
Picking 1.1 is the Richmond Rattlesnakes. I like stud looking WR Tim Voorhees for them and they go…Voorhees, called it! 1.32 – Who do I like here? SLB Lamar Blades – 3rd best player on the board, the top LB – Overrated, okay bars WLB Preston Malone – Good bars for a WLB strong in pass rush and run d, As Scouted C Jace Rodriguez – Very underrated, top O Line on the board LG Jon Givens – Very overrated, top OG left. TE Bill Compton – Underrated, okay bars Who do I like here? It’s really Malone or Rodriguez Here’s Rod. He’s great at everything but end, and he looks very underrated. But I just had an All Pro from Schneider so this feels like less of a need. Here’s Malone a natural fit at WLB for me, but that’s where Vaughn is playing for me after moving ver. Malone looks like a good player who is as scouted, but again, this isn’t as much of a position of need, although I could draft Malone and then move Vaughn back to the middle at the less played WILB for a year or cut him. Who do you like? Or do I do another position of need?

Extensions
I extend Vaughn who wants 61 mil and 2 years for another year. Two Years Left? Womack or Mathews? They want 108 mill for 4 years and 116 mill fo 4 years respectively. I do Womack Rookies Here’s the big one! Look at him after camp and preseason! Nice right? Right! Here’s my other starter from the draft, the 2.32 pick of TE Foster. He’s great at catching that ball and less of a blocker. Good stuff Foster!

Super Bowl MVP – QB Rodney Bratsch All Pro 1st Team RB Jeffrey Torelli WR Ernest Gassner All Pro 2nd Team QB Rodney Bratsch WR Edwin Abrams OG Axel Blake CB Mackenzie Collins Great year by my squad, new All Pros for Blake and Abrams! You’ll see stats later, but this is my first time in this uber dynasty with TWO All Pro WR in the same season – that’s rare. They did some good stuff together this year. I’m shocked Blake won All Pro as he has just a 55 run blocking but dude had momentum. Collins another All Pro, dude is class. I thought a 16-0 team would have more than 6 All Pros, but whatevs.

Defensive
A very down year in sacks with Clemons leading my team with just 11.5 and only DT Taggart’s 8.5 was good, and he was the 3rd best DT but no All Pro. Robbed? Vaughn has a nasty 9 sacks and Blouch 6 more with Murray’s 3. Nordbye my two time All Pro dropped a lot. Pass Coverage Collins is back from injury and all is right with the world. Another year leading my team in picks with a solid 5. He also added 5 pasdef and a team leading 3 pick sixes. Mathews was 2nd with a solid 4 and 7 respectively. 3 by Henry and Bloch but just one with double digits pasdef. Not great but it’d be a lot worse without Collins, like last year.
