FOFC grammar police

You guys are easily the smartest collection of folks I know. I am 99% this is correct with spelling, but would like confirmation before it is on my body permanently.

yes sir.

It is a line from Time of your life by Green Day. I used to sing it to my son when he was a baby. Going to get a pocket watch tattooed on my forearm with the chain surrounding the lyrics.

So there’s clearly a pause between “it’s worth” and “It was worth”.

Are you rendering this as a single line? If so, I’d put a comma in between to signify the pause.

If you’re rendering it as two lines as here, “It was worth...” should be capitalized in the first word. No comma is needed, since the pause is implied by the line break.
