Random Trivia
Inspired by something on Cracked.com this morning. It surprised me, but it also seems pretty guessable for this board:
This band had an impressive nine Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including five songs that reached #2. But it never had a song reach #1 on the Hot 100. What band is this? |

I'm pretty sure I know this, and it's only because I was a huge fan of Steve Carlton, who somehow threw 6 one-hitters without throwing a no-hitter. Kinda the same energy.
Creedence Clearwater Revival.

KSyrup is correct. If you had asked me, I would have assumed that several of their songs hit #1. But I guess they just never quite made it despite being super duper popular.
Feel free to ask another question if you want to keep it going. |
