Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
The Who - Baba O'Reilly
Faith No More - Epic
Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody

This was a tough Mt. Rushmore for me, but I am surprised that no one mentioned "Iris".

If it weren't for the parenthetical, Green Day's "Good Riddance" would absolutely be Mount Rushmore worthy. That song will live forever in montages, etc.

Baba O'Reilly is probably the only one in this thread that I think is inarguable.

I was the first reply in this post. After a LONG time to think about it, I might have to drop Paranoid and replace it with 'Little T&A' from the Rolling Stones.

I learned last week that that song by Four Non Blondes is actually called "What's Up" and not "What's Going On"

It probably does not make my top four but should be part of the discussion.

Does Authur’s Theme count? I know one of the verses has a mention of Aurthur in it, but 10/10 people think the song is called something like “Moon and New York City”

Could make the same argument against Unchained Melody I guess.

I totally agree. That title feels more like a classical music title that summarizes the subject about which it is written and/or music (like Moonlight Sonata).
