Enjoyed this weeks episode. It started StarTrek-like with the dilemma but the ending was Orville like (hard to describe).

Bad acting as always, corny special effects as intended, but good story line.

(Made me realized I missed last week's episode, have to go find it now)

Just watched Part II from a couple weeks back and liked it.

I do think the Dr. (and family) is getting too much face time.

Would be good if they gave pilot/navigator LaMarr some love/backstory. He seems to be the one character that we don't know much about.

Been catching up on the Orville s2. I remember catching some s2 episodes back when but never kept up consistently.

The BDSM, porn addiction was too weird for me. Honestly, didn't seem to be a lesson they should be teaching or at least not using that example.

The last 3-4 episodes were pretty good, especially the last 2 with time travel. Looking forward to s3 but wish the stories are more "consistently good".

Orville s3 is out on Disney.

I re-watched last 2 episodes of s2 and finished s3.1 today.

Great episode. Definitely getting orig ST vibes with underlying plots/lessons & originality. Special effects are solid but the "Orville" looks is still hokey.

Thank you, Edward, for bringing this to the forefront. We held off signing up for streaming services and when we finally did we went hog-wild and this got lost in the shuffle. I watched the first episode yesterday and was transfixed. It's like watching Star Trek without the stigma that brings. Plus it's kinda funny.

I thought s1 was uneven. s2 was better especially the latter part. So far s3 is the best yet.

Finished s3. Overall, a solid, fun & woke season.

Enjoyed the Dolly episode. Liked the parallels to TNG Data and what fans had hoped for Data. Liked some of the more serious matters dealing with suicide, prejudice, redemption, work-life balance etc. Enjoyed the ship battles even though the ships look like crap.

Overall, I prefer a more traditional ST series but will watch a s4 (not yet confirmed).
