The Matrix - Red or Blue?

From the other thread discussing "simulation theory" aka The Matrix.

If you were told you were in a Matrix/simulation and had to pick the red or blue pill, what would you do ...

Blue = stay in the matrix and live the simulated life
Red = "... Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”

I am very happy. Sadly it's the blue pill for me. Pretty crushing as I am super curious.

I would choose Red. And then also regret it the rest of my life probably, but I increasingly prefer truth over ignorance.

I would also ask Morpheus why exactly it is that 'Nobody can be told what the Matrix is' right after he just .... told Neo what it is in general terms. Did pictures suddenly cease to exist? Also how he managed to change instantly from holding his left arm at his side to behind his back when the camera angle changed. (I'm a Matrix fan, I just like pointing these things out).

Vis a vis the real conversation (or is it :P), unlike the conclusion reached in the other thread I actually think it makes a huge difference whether we are in a simulation or aren't.

I chose Red. And like you, would probably regret it.

Haven't watched it in a while but my guess is ...

The more Neos that know the Matrix is a simulation, they would start to revolt/act out. This would lead to more attention from Agent Smith(s) and possibly increase the likelihood of Morpheus and gang being located?

Leads to an interesting question. What would happen if we/world found out we were truly bits & bytes in a Bostrom simulation (e.g. no real body unlike The Matrix)? I can see a lot of people shutting off, dropping away from society. I can also see a push and research to connect with our creators. Really a weird thought.
