And…it’s canceled. Season 1 was fantastic. Season 2 was good but not great and Season 3 was a train wreck.

Thought they got back on track a bit with those most recent season but three likely put the show behind too much of an eight ball to regain an audience.

No surprise, and while season 4 regained some of the old good, it also wrapped up, sort of, but the end was rather rushed, and the final episode was sort of another, different kind of a mess. As good as season 1 and 2 was, it's probably for the best that it's done.

We watched the first two seasons. I even kept a spreadsheet to try and keep up with the themes.

It wasn't consistent. I felt it was like getting a really wonderful jigsaw puzzle, only one quarter of the pieces had been chewed by the cat and another quarter were simply missing.

My guess is they would have gotten that final season without Discovery taking over.

The ratings seemed really bad for season 4. I don't know if it ever stood a chance.

Season 1 was tremendous. Other seasons had occasional moments but ultimately were just bad.

The show should have never left the parks. The focus should have been more on the guests than the robots. Shogunworld opened up the possibility to so much. Writers got too obsessed with making everything a big twist when that wasn't the reason the show was great in season 1.

I guess I'm in the minority that I enjoyed season 4. There were some drags for sure, but some of the stuff was pretty cool. Season 3 took the winds out of the sails for sure.
