Immaculate Grid (Daily Baseball trivia + Wordle)

This is an easy one, but should play well here among the older baseball fan types. There are 9 squares, one gets released daily. I think it's less "obviously you could look these answers up" and more "oh how fun, let me think of someone obscure off the top of my head." I haven't cared much about recent baseball, but it's been fun to take a trip back to when this would've been easier for me.

pretty neat. I got 5 because I screwed up a couple times thinking the player had to play only for that team so the 3000K one got me.

If I could filter out any player that played after about 2006 I'd be really good at this.

Man. The USC grad that won Super Bowl MVP post-1999 really stumped me.

I ended up with the 1% Pirate / Blue Jay, but my first guess was wrong. The player I thought of was drafted by the Pirates but must not have played for them.

I had a .06 for that lol.

Amazing how both of my Jays 20 game winner guesses were wrong.

Baseball Reference bought Immaculate grid and expanded it to their own branded versions for all the major sports, so that's cool. You can also use their site now to see all the possible answers once you finish for the day.

Hit a 201 today(#107). Felt good being that low even though I used 3 top answers.

Assuming you used Reese McGuire?

(I know this is now 10 days ago). Remember Robinzon Diaz? That’s the guy I used there and he was .06% lol

Correct.

The 2nd guess was Operation Shutdown. Derek Bell.

Neil Walker was .2 for Yankees/brewers.

Let me guess, Shane, Rawley?

Four players under 1% in today's game. The blank is due to a brain fart where my mind thought I needed a player that played for Oakland and Toronto. I guess in my mind those two teams, though side by side, stuck and I selected Dave Stewart and was surprised the box stayed blank, WTF? Then I saw my error.
