I don't know about you...
... but thinking about one year from now fills me with dread. Please let a good candidate emerge!

Yeah, if the Raiders don't find a good head coaching candidate then they are screwed next year.

A new show starring Matt Dillon and Patricia Heaton seems unlikely, but anything is possible.
Also, Ray Romano is 65. His TV dad was 61 when Everybody loves Raymond started. Last edited by Ghost Econ : 11-07-2023 at 08:02 AM. |

I think we need to give Ding some leash, he seems to have suffered an illness. He's not a boxer dodging legit rivals, he's a legit champion who just had to step away for a bit. He will be back in due time, it will be fine.

This is probably one of the few comforts I have. The fact that alomst every incumbent in my lifetime looked vulnerable at this point gives me some hope this is just the standard pattern. I remember how no one thought George W. had a chance in hell of winning reelection. Clinton was complete toast in the fall of 95. Obama was still dealing with a slow economy. Even Reagan looked vulnerable in 1983. On the flip side, Bush Sr. looked like he would cruise to victory off the Gulf War and the end of the Cold War.
