Fox, ESPN, Warner Brothers to collaborate on streaming sports service

Warner, Fox, ESPN to Launch Streaming Sports Joint Venture

They should call it something catchy, like "Cable TV"

If they take ESPN+ from my Disney bundle then they lost me. That's the only reason I've still kept it. I'll just stick to less than legit streams. They honestly work 90% as well as the ESPN app, they look as good, and the delay isn't as bad as you'd think.

Whatever the case, I'm sure I'll end up paying more to watch local sports and soccer. Oh well, I make it up by pirating just about everything else lol

I think my kid has the ESPN one. Maybe?

I don't believe there's anything he/we ever watch on the others that doesn't already come with our YouTube TV, so this is nothing but a price increase on him best I can tell.

ESPN+ - all the live sports you can’t watch due to technical issues or strange broadcasting rules!

I watch more softball than anything else on ESPN+. That's worth the entire year's cost to me - at least at the current cost. I've also watched some Championship English soccer since Leicester was relegated, but that's probably going to be a one year thing.

Generally, I have had great experiences with ESPN+ with very little technical issues. The BS that I can't watch a game that is on ESPN or ESPN2 because I don't have a TV provider is ridiculous. I can watch a game that is on ABC though even though I don't have a TV provider that allows me to see anything live on ABC. Peacock does the same foolishness with EPL matches that are the USA network while allowing me to see Sunday night football live.

This new venture sounds promising for me though. Give me a one stop package for diverse documentaries, and my TV watching would be sorted.

$50 cost seems to be the most popular estimate.

What I saw is that it's not going to be an exclusive, so if you basically get everything now as part of a streaming package, this is more of a nothing burger? Is this just for those who want sports only and maybe Netflix?

Honestly, this is amazing news. Peacock works. Paramount+ does not. I’d be thrilled with this.

I watched Lawman: Bass Reaves the other night and after ever commercial break it would revert to the beginning. It was amazing.
