Why would you want to? It's far more common for women and girls who are abused to just try and put it behind them. Abused don't want to keep reliving all those experiences, and talking about it and getting it out in the open are far more painful than whatever benefit they get by talking about it. That's just the way it is, they move on, try and forget it ever happened and try really hard to forget about it. It's not a massive shock. That's what the vast majority of them do.

Multiple girls/women have accused Trump of rape since he started running for president, and that didn't kill MAGA. Unless they have some kind of hard proof (especially if the allegations are years/decades old) they would just be brushed aside, if not attacked by the conservative media.

I am not gonna say much more than PM here, but FFS, tarcone, you think anybody that has been raped is thinking about the world at large?

They are bascially trying to feel safe day by day, in the smallest container that you or I could possibly imagine.

Once your safety is taken away, everything else that you think, that I think, that normal folks think, goes a fucking away.

I am not in this field, but doesnt it usually take just one? I mean Nassar went down hard after one athlete came forward, right? And then they all did. Surely the girls and boy they preyed on, there has to be one. And where is the #metoo movement? Isnt this the type of thing that should be involved in?

I think it's also worth noting that Epstein's method/system of abuse likely made the victims feel as if they were well paid and/or complicit in their own abuse and that of others & putting themselves up for public scrutiny is not exactly an attractive proposition.

So along with everything muns described I would guess the fact Epstein was successfully suicided in a monitored jail cell is probably also a bit of a deterrent. There are some ridiculously powerful forces behind this grotesquerie; how do we know some haven't tried to come forward and were 'dealt with' in some manner? Something like that happens once or twice and the message probably travels to the others.

You're wrong here. Nassar went down because he was exposed via a massive comprehensive investigation by the USA Today, and the Indianapolis Star that detailed dozens of complaints against him. Nothing was done about him until that article came out and even then, he denied it all and USA Gymnastics initially backed him.

It is still insane to me how little we know about Epstein and his connections. Like I usually don't like conspiracy theories, but how do we still not know where his money came from? How do we still not know what actually happened on the island and who was involved? How was no one else charged?

It's also telling that no one really wants to touch this topic for a book or documentary. Every streaming services seemed to want a documentary on Murdaugh or Fyre Fest, but no one will touch Epstein.
