Any hints or tips on how to speed up the sim speed?

I downloaded the demo, loved the setup and everything! and then the season starts...yuck....it takes what like 5 minutes to simulate a full day of bball....any help?

Holy Cow! It takes me about 10-15 seconds to sim a full day of games. I would suggest killing any background programs and your anti-virus. The game will also slow down considerably if you are on the net and have the game in the background while it sims.

It doesn't work with 98. It will continuously slow down until it creeps to almost nothing. HR has been looking for a way to fix it, but he hasn't found anything yet.

And this happened on my old computer, thats why it took months before I bought it (new comp).
