Did anyone else have a Stanford-Kentucky final game in their bracket?
Rarely has my bracket been busted as badly as it was this weekend. On the plus side, since I have no chance of winning my pool, I can now focus only on the games and not on my predictions.

Woot, I still have 3 of 4 left, had Stanford out this early, and Gonzaga and MSU losing in the sweet 16. Only Kentucky hurt me, but EVERYONE in one of my pools had Kentucky. In the work pool, there are two people who picked GT (the rest Kentucky) but one of them had an all ACC final four, and thus is not likely to win. If OSU is champ (or even makes the finals) I am likely to win both pools.

So weird. I just knew Kentucky wasn't going to do crap this tournament. I had them out by the Sweet Sixteen. But I really thought Stanford had what it took this year. They were my champion. What makes it hurt worse is that I really hate Stanford.
Oh yeah, and they were to beat the Zags, after beating Mississippi State in the Final Four. Ouch. Umm...go Okie State... (only remaining F4 pick left ). CR

I had Miss St. winning over Gonzaga, so thats just as bad as a Stanford-Kentucky pick i guess.

Well, while everyone else is taking the opportunity to subtley say "nope, i didn't. eat it." I'll fess up to my Stanford-Kentucky final but by the time Stanford was gone, I was kindof bored of the tourney and the lack of upsets so I'm welcoming any and all upsets that don't involve Kansas (go us!)

Just a minor point but if you like and support upsets how could you have an all favorite final?

Well, it's the "heart versus head" thing. I love seeing upsets, but even I know there are limits to the number of upsets one can reasonably pick. For the record, Duke is the higher seed than Stanford. And, if the nitwits (I know there are some smart people there, but you know there are just a ton of idiots fill out stuff there) who fill out ESPN brackets are to be believed, Stanford wasn't going to come out of their bracket. That makes sense and it looks like the nitwits will prevail this year. I'm included since I filled the thing out in 5 minutes and was in the f-the-favorites mood in the right spots...total luck since I watched a total of 5 minutes of college ball this year...

I have Oklahoma State over UCONN. Miss. State is my only team to fall so far. My other Final Four team is Georgia Tech.

Kentucky (winning it all ), Pitt, Duke and UConn.
I'm amazingly still in the running.

UConn over Kentucky, still leading my work bracket. Considering the only only person who still has their champion is also has UConn, I think I have a decent shot.

I am reaching, but I picked Illinois to win it all. If it happens I look like a genius, if not, I am out only $3. My high school buddies got a league on yahoo, and we each put in $3, so the winner will end up with $50, 2nd will get $20, and 3rd would get $8. I really want the cash, but we will see. I still have 3 out of 4 final four teams.

If I had made a bracket, it would've been wayyyyyyyy off. I would have had: Gonzaga(oops), St. Joes, Duke and UConn as my final four...
