The drummer of Iron Maiden, former guitarist of Anthrax, and former bassist of Megadeth, proudly announce their new lead singer is.....!

It's a pity, because I like Ellefson. Spitz is an idiot, and McBrain, aside from being one ugly dude, has a wife who owns (or used to own) a lingerie store in Coral Springs, so he's OK in my book. What they hope to accomplish with that moron "singing" for them, I don't know. I guess publicity, for one thing, which I've given them.

As odd as this news is, I think it is topped by the fact that Metallica is going on a summer tour with Lincoln Park and Limp Bizkit. What's next, are they going to start hanging out and playing XBox with a bunch of 15 year olds? Can you say Mid-Life Crisis?

I just bought the recently-released Binge and Purge CD/DVD set (re-released on DVD instead of VHS). Just to remember the good ole' days. I've been seeking out any old bootlegs I can find as well. You know, back when they didn't just play the first 3 minutes of Master of Puppets?
