Is Opera working faster than IE 5.5 ?

it seems to but loads things like java and flash inccorectly or not at all sometimes. And if you tunr off popups things don't always work correctly.

But Opera is faster. Probably only noticeable on a cable modem.

I have all the plugins, but seems to fail most of the time (like that ESPN tabbed thing on the right-hand side, ESPN mag, Page2 and Insider I think.)
