OT - Jets CB Henderson injured in crash

from http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/sp...henderson.html

New York Jets cornerback Jamie Henderson was hospitalized in critical but stable condition Monday following a weekend accident.
The Jets would not comment on how Henderson was injured, said Jets vice president of media relations, Ron Colangelo.

The Newark Star-Ledger, citing an anonymous source, reported that Henderson was driving a motorcycle Saturday night when he lost control making a turn at high speed in the Atlanta area.

Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. Kevin Austie said he was unaware of the accident in their jurisdiction. However, Henderson was being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital in downtown Atlanta.

Henderson was a stand-out defensive back at Carrollton High School, 40 miles west of Atlanta. He later played for the University of Georgia Bulldogs before joining the Jets in 2001.

The 6-foot-2, 202-pound cornerback has 30 defensive tackles in 32 games with the Jets. He also has 41 special-teams tackles.
