Does anyone work for the Justice Department (or maybe just the Feds in general)

I'm wondering if someone here knows what the computer monitoring or restriction policies are for the Justice Department or anyone working for an office of the federal judiciary.

I'm on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and they told us that they don't monitor or care about what we do as long as we don't download software or otherwise compromise security.

I don't know if that is true or not, but that it what they told us.

Oh--and this answer would be circuit specific. I am pretty sure that each circuit has its own policy on things like this.

This sounds a lot like the local admin's implementation and not actual policy.
