Signing up for party poker.

I see they have a tell-a-friend promotion where you get $50 and the friend gets $25. I am going to sign up anyway (my college poker buddies and I are looking for private tables online) so if someone could send an invite to [email protected].

Unless, of course, someone is aware of another sign-up promotion that would result in more money for me .

i think it takes a little while. i've done this before and it wasn't immediate.

Was it longer than four days? I still have no invite from partypoker. I expected to be getting an e-mail from them. Or do I just sign up using some sort of reference promotion code?

Turns out it was on. I just turned it off.

Well, this was it. Thanks for the heads up. Instead of turning it off, I set it to trap the spam in a folder, and I got an invite from sooner333. Funny that I never realized there was an auto spam filter on this email account. I wonder how many invitations to porn sites or offers to enlarge my "self" I have missed.

Well, I work for the federal government. Very little chance of me being invited for a meeting with THE BOSS. In fact, I am pretty sure that I can sue my supervisors if they do anything to make me the least bit uncomfortable.

I have worked here for nearly 5 years, and used the internet excessively at times (this week, for example). Noone has ever said a word. There are days where I am furious as a taxpayer at the incredible waste of money that my salary is.
