Hey, I was looking at your Japanese League...how do you guys handle the following:

-Stadiums
-Names (How do you gen. Japanese names year after year?)

Also, do you know where there are facepacks like that for say...a US league?

devaneyfan i don't know how but he modeled all of the park factors off the real stadiums in Japan, but at this point some have been slightly modified from their original park factors.

-Names
1st of all, we gathered better asian name files because right now the ones are currently used in OOTP are mostly historical and very old names, so they are pretty much current names as far as i know, but to get the Japanese names generated, we just took the ANAMES.dat and AFNAMES.dat and copied the names inside to the other names files so only those files would generate. I then go export the CSV each year and with a random city generator replace all the "USA" origins to Japanese cities through Excel.

The facepacks we use are created by me, so over time pretty much all the 25-man players have their own faces.

A bunch of others helped me out with a generally American facegen facepack over a year ago, and there are I think 2000 faces in the packs, but they are offline now. Funny, someone asked about them the other day, so I will upload them tomorrow and let you know.
