How to install the real player names file in FOF2004.

Thanks again to primelord for coming through for us. This file can be found {here}.

1. Download the file into your main install directory for FOF2004 (c:/Program Files/Solecismic Software/Front Office Football 2004/ is the default in XP.)

2. Make a backup of your original "players.fdt" file.

3. Rename "realname.fdt" to "players.fdt"

4. The above instructions will default the game to start with the real-name rosters. You can also choose to "start with alternative player file" and load the "realname.fdt" file at that point.

5. Enjoy!

Bumping this, 'cause I'm still getting an average of 1-2 e-mails/PM's per week asking how to use the real player file.

Dola,

BTW Ben your use of the 's on the end of PMs is likely to make QuikSand short a circuit.
