Important Question on Line of Succession

Since John Lennon passed in the early 80s, who has been the Walrus? Is there a current Walrus? If not, what is the process for becoming the walrus?

This is important.

What about Craig Stadler? He's been The Walrus since the mid-70s.

So is it safe to say that Craig Stadler has been the Walrus since Paul died?

I think the vice-walrus becomes the walrus
after that I think the speaker-of-the-house becomes the walrus.

so once John buried Paul ("I buried Paul") then he became the walrus? because the walrus WAS Paul, not IS Paul....

so i guess that leaves Yoko Ono as the Walrus? or Ringo Starr?

The more I think about this, the more confident I am about Craig Stadler. I'm not kidding, by the way.

Paul is still alive. You cannot retire from being the Walrus, you can only hand the title over on your deathbed, accompanied by fourteen nights of acid and binge-drinking.

So I guess we haven't answered the question. Who is next in line to be the Walrus?

Perhaps we should ask Walter. I never lost a walrus in my sock. It was actually a woolen condom made for rare Elephants that I bought really cheap used off of Ebay. Walrus's are suckers for those types of things.

The identity of the Walrus may be the most under-reported conspiracy in human history. You know it can't be the Masons or the Trilateral Commission secretly controlling the world, because we've all heard about them. Since we *haven't* heard about the power of the Walrus until now, he must secretly be controlling the world.

I don't know about that. No one has heard about my power either and I control nothing.

I believe I personally am about 50 pounds and one wicked mustache away from declaring myself to the world as The Walrus.

Paul is and always has been the Walrus. The question is, who will succeed him?
