Welcome to the club, brother. What kind of connection do you have (56k here )? Until I can find a better internet connection choice I'm afraid I'll always be lower tier. |

I've been thinking about the whole "league" thing and have this suggestion:
Let people run races anytime there are at least 3 people ready and willing to play. Try to keep the total per cup session to 6 racers at most, this will help those with the slower connections still be able to enjoy the game. There is a way to delay between races, the host should take the time between each race to write down the finishing order for each race, as well as the final cup standings w/points at the end. This info can be posted to a thread and/or emailed to the commish for compiling into overall style standings. Standings can be kept for each track: most wins, fastest, etc etc Overall points collected could be counted or perhaps averaged to see who the top drivers are, and every now and then we can schedule *all star* events where those top drivers face off against one another. other ideas welcome, I'm willing to set up web space for a site if someone wants to take on the trouble of working it all out. With school and contract work, I'm just too busy to be in charge =) Ren |

Hey, I'm in the process of getting a faster connection! You just wait until said connection is up-and-running. I want in "The Cup". |

Also, I've discovered that the host can select all the cars ( I think) that he has available and they'll download to the other players, have to test this out, but I found some AWESOME cars today. Whooot.
I'll play with my setup and see if I can host sometime, gotta learn some day EDIT: if the host selects all his cars then everyone can use them, and I seem to be able to host, though Sovstar still had connection troubles, hopefully they'll get him hooked up soon =)

I gotta get me a custom car. I'll need one with 22' rims, extra-cushy bumpers, and a fog horn to let people know they need to move to the side.

I discovered something wonderful
everyone with the game look in the records directory, and BOING there is the HTML of all the records on each track that you've been involved with. if you import records from every server you play on, eventually you'll have all the records and can track everything on your own system. kewl shit! |
