I just heard him doing a local-to-Atlanta radio commercial for a freakin' mortgage refinancing company. That's almost as sad as when I saw Run and D doing a commercial for one of those "fix-your-credit" companies on the channel that scrolls to tell you what is coming on next.

Unless things have drastically changed, I don't think Deion is hurting for money if that's what you mean. Earlier this year he gave a very sizable amount of money to Potters House where he goes to church in Dallas.

If anything it could be a spotlight thing for him.

Deion is an owner of that company, from what I recall. Why shouldn't an owner be able to use his notoriety to pimp his new business? Is a mortgage company not a decent business to be involved with anyway?

Doh. I got the wrong idea from some interviews I heard with Deion. Still, it doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

I dunno. The mortgage refi business lately has seemed to be very shady to me. Maybe that's just a false impression that I have, and it is quite respectable. {shurg}

Cool, that is where I go for services. JD Jakes is a wonderful speaker.

Anyhow, Deion and Michael Irvin both attend there. They have both spoken about their troubles. Of course I cannot evaluate one's convictions but both in my opinion have been genuine with resolving their past.

For people who don't know, Potter's House does a lot of work in the prison system trying to help those that need and want it for guidance. This isn't a peddle religion shop, if you want help whether it be spiritual or not you get it.
