Post Morgado - Hybrid Offense Idea

Not a big revelation, but have you tried to combine the WCO with the 2nd and short "bombs away" theory?

Talk about keeping a "D" on their toes!

I'll try it if I get time, but I know you're always looking for ideas.

Thats what I've been running in the WLC and it's worked like a charm. Solid running totals and decent air game. Can't complain.

I haven't tried it yet, but i'm starting to use my WLC team to do some very strange things... like I just ran a Midwest 35 in 2034. I think i'll try something out with the Bombs Away adjustment for 2035.

And yeah, keep the ideas coming...

In the FOF Journal, it's the one labeled "Throwing on 2nd and Short."

The Mike,

A first run of what happened when I tried this out can be found in my WLC Richmond Knights (Rounds 3 and 4) thread in the Dynasties section. It looks like there's some promise in pursuing the experiment some more...

Oh yeah, it's the 2035 season.

Wow - that was a nice season, I liked the balance a lot.

I suppose I wouldn't know what the hell to call that either, you really did combine about every strategy we've been toying with!

I'm so far behind in the WLC I might start a brand new file, not keep score and just do a few different offensive threads, and figure out which works best (like seperate threads for 75, 35, hybrid and perhaps Darkiller's model as well, which happens to work very well).

I'll put them in the dynasty section if I start this project, which is very likely.
