Qix?
Most probably remember this game from eithier the gameboy or nintendo systems. I also played a similar concept game called Jezzball in an old microsoft entertainment pack. Does anyone play any freeware versions on the pc, I am looking for a little game to boot up once in a while and for some reason these games came to mind. I have searched on yahoo and such and saw some but wanted one that I knew was legitimate and figured this was the place Anyone play any of the various versions floating around out there?

This was one of those evil games like Tetris that turned you into a mindless zombie. You play it for a little bit, get hooked and then suddenly you start to smell and realize you've been playing for 24 hours.

Was QIX the game where you were trying to box in the playing area without having your line touched by the spinning orbs?
If so, that was a classic but I've never found a version on the PC that really has responsive enough controls for me to enjoy playing it. Sorry.

dola,
yep same game but it's spinning sticks not spinning orbs. I only played the arcade version though. This link has a good picture and info on the arcade game. I'll be following the thread to see if anyone has any good suggestions. hxxp://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=Q&game_id=9185
