OT -- Recruiting for fantasy baseball league

If you're interested in joining a fantasy baseball league please send me a PM. I'm starting up an AL/NL-mixed, keeper, salary cap/auction style league. It would be run by Fantasy Frenzy Institute (www.fanfrenz.com). They do a really good job and it's a lot of fun once you get started.

If you're not familiar the auction style draft means you don't have to show up at a certain time and aren't going to pick based on drawing straws. You make your bid and if you beat out the others you get that player.

There are plenty of trading opportunities and free agent signings throughout the year. The more active you are the more exciting it can be.

I need 10 owners (9 others besides myself). Even if I don't get 10, that's OK. They can fill the spots up fairly easy.

The catch is that there is a fee for this. They typically charge $25 per owner, which isn't bad considering the type of league it is, the work involved in running it and compared to similar products on the Web. If I get all 10 owners I may be able to negotiate a better fee, since the fees usually go to pay for prizes (fitted hats, sweatshirts, trophies, etc.) at the end.

If you're at least interested in joining and possibly paying a small fee (with the chance at winning a prize) please let me know. And if $25 is too much, let me know what you're willing to pay to participate.

Remember this is a keeper league, so it is possible for it to provide several years of enjoyment and team building.

Cost will be no more than $25 per season and I'm hoping to offer prizes of some type (cash, game, tickets, etc.). Fees cover commish costs (yeah they charge $$$ to run a league) and the prize cost. You'll get your money's worth ...

especially since it's auction-style keeper. PM me with your team name and e-mail if interested. I need nine others to join.

The final price may actually be lower. I'd love to get it down to as low as $10. Put it this way $10-$25 per year, with a chance at winning cash or something of value.

I've got one so far. Need 8 more now. It's $10-$25 per season. I'm going to use one of two programs, basically whatever will give me the best deal.

Part of the entry fee covers the software and league costs. The rest will be applied to a prize to the ultimate winner each season.

Here are some possible prizes:

1.) Two tickets to a regular season MLB game of your choice. Up to $50 for a pair.
2.) Fitted hat of your favorite NFL team.
3.) Box of baseball cards valued at up to $50.
4.) The latest .400 Software or Solecismic product.
5.) $50 cash

You get the flow here ... basically I'm looking at a $50 grand prize.
