Blink-182 calls it quits

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/149...headlines=true

I'm sure most of you probably thought they sucked in their later career, but they still rank as one of my favorite bands of all time. Glad I got to see them this past summer with No Doubt now that they are probably finished.

Sad day for me at least

Not a fan of the genre in general - in fact, I don't think I've ever even heard an entire song from this band - but it always sucks when a favorite band breaks up. I had no clue they were around for over 10 years. I just recall seeing a snippet of a video of them running naked, and that's about the only "exposure" (har har) I've had.

Now I have "All the Small Things" and the goofy video running through my head!

I guess now that the lead singer is married to that porn-chick, he has better things to do with his time

wow, what a bummer, I enjoyed alot of their music. I wonder if any of them will pursue an acting career, I know some of them have been in a couple of movies if I'm not mistaken.

if you listen to "What's My Age Again", i think you'll really understand what Hell Atlantic is all about, and how i feel. whenever that song comes on the car i always tell my wife, always, that WMAG best explains why i do the things i do sometimes.

While I absolutely hated their last few albums, and I hated them personally after seeing them live, I still loved both Chesire Cat and Dude Ranch at the time.

I think Dude Ranch is probably one of the best albums of the 90's in fact.

Probably a lousy career move for all of them too, particularly for Travis who lucked into being the new drummer as they hit their peak of popularity.

There really isn't much left for them to do and you can only sing about poop for so long. I think they did all they really wanted to do and 2 of them have Boxcar Racer still and Travis is still the Drummer in the Transplants. He's about the only guy who made money from the Aquabats

I'd hit Oscar's sloppy seconds. Assuming he's not gay or anything...

After hearing this great news, i'm thinking there might truly be a god afterall. These clowns are the posterboys for everything that's wrong with rock music today. The only thing can could top this is if limp bisquick joins them in retirement.
